"Stash Your Cash" Details
"Stash Your Cash" is an easy way to build your savings. Here's how it works.
Each time you use your debit card for a purchase (signature or PIN transaction), "Stash Your Cash" will round up the amount to the nearest dollar and add that change to your "Stash Your Cash" deposit total for each day. At the end of each business day, "Stash Your Cash" will deposit your total "change" into your Beacon savings account.

What are the requirements to register for "Stash Your Cash"?
You must have a debit card, a checking account and a savings account with Beacon Credit Union to participate.
When does the "Stash Your Cash" transfer occur?
The "Stash Your Cash" transfer takes place at the end of the business day on which your purchase posts to your checking account.
How will "Stash Your Cash" transfers appear on my statements and in Online and Mobile Banking?
Debit card purchases will post to your account in the amounts that the purchase was made and will appear on in your account the same as they always have. The "Stash Your Cash" transfer will display as "Stash Your Cash W/D" and will only post once per day, if a transaction is processed for that day.
Which transaction will generate a "Stash Your Cash" transfer for the day?
Only PIN and signature purchases will be included in "Stash Your Cash" transfers. No bill payments or automated payments are included.
What if there is not enough money in my Checking Account to cover the amount rounded up with "Stash Your Cash"?
A "Stash Your Cash" transfer will not occur if (1) the entire amount of the daily transfer is not available and (2) if there is a negative balance on the checking account.
